Indulge in the pristine magic of Minnesota's winter in the woods while snowshoeing at a leisurely pace near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area wilderness (BWCA). Right out the door of the Little Ollie Cabin, Tall Pines Yurt or Poplar Creek Guesthouse, you will experience snowshoeing at its finest.

For the snowshoe devotee and for those who want to try this quiet winter sport, the following exclusive snowshoe trails are now available for your enjoyment.

Creek Trail - (one quarter mile)
Winds along the north side of Poplar Creek then returns along an esker ridge about the Creek. This trail begins at either the Cabin or Yurt.
BWCAW Swamp Lake Trail - (two miles)
This loop trail begins at the Tim Knopp trailhead near the Cabin. The trail travels through the BWCAW via the Swamp Lake portages.
Tim Knopp Trail - (two miles)
Follows the Knopp Trail to the Banadad then loops back along the Banadad to the Swamp/Poplar portage.
