The Banadad Yurts
Skiers traveling the Banadad find cozy accommodations and exceptional
dining at the Yurts operated by Boundary Country Trekking. The yurts are
warm and cozy, round, peaked-roofed, canvas-covered huts. At the Croft
Yurt your food is provided for you to prepare and at the Tall Pines Yurt
Boundary Country will serve their Mongolian Fire Pot Dinner. Breakfast at
the Tall Pines in normally at the nearby Poplar Creek Guesthouse. From the
Tall Pine Yurt to the Croft it is a 19 kilometer ski and from the Croft
to the western end of the Banadad it is a 12 kilometer ski.
Little Ollie Lake Secluded Cabin
You find this
cabin where the eastern
end of the Banadad adjoins the Bearskin ski system. It is secluded,
fully modern with two bedrooms, a fireplace and its own sauna. The cabin
is operated by Boundary Country Trekking. Meals are usually served at
Poplar Creek Guesthouse.
Poplar Creek Guesthouse
The
Guesthouse is also located
at the eastern end of the Banadad Trail. Two bed and breakfast rooms, plus
a two-room suite, all with private baths. Fireplaces, whirlpool, decks,
kitchenettes and great views of lake and creek.
Bearskin Lodge Cross Country Ski Resort
A complete cross country ski resort: 48 km. groomed and tracked ski
trails; l0 km. skating trails; ski shop, rental and instruction; heated
waxing room; and 2 km. softly lit ski trail. Secluded log cabins and
townhouses, all with fireplaces. Hearty Continental breakfast and trail lunches,
private hot tub, sauna and massage.

Old Northwoods Lodge
Located on the middle of the Gunflint Trail on Poplar Lake. Features cabins
and guestrooms in the lodge.
Gunflint Lodge
A family ski resort; over l00 km. of groomed trails, dog sled rides,
skating and snowshoeing. Cabins with fireplaces; most have sauna and
whirlpool tub. The main lodge lounge has large rock fireplace and the Red Paddle
Bistro. Candle lit dinners at Justine's with choice of five tasty entrees; Cocktails,
ski and snowshoe rental, Gift shop.
Gunflint Pines Resort
"The Pines" offers modern A-Frame Chalet cabins with fireplace. Over l00
km. of groomed & tracked trails just outside your doorstep. Hot foods
& drinks, groceries, gifts at the main lodge. Sauna, heated waxing
room, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ski rentals. Day lodge to lodge ski
trips with complementary hot drinks. Dinners at nearby Gunflint Lodge.
Heston's Lodge and Country Store
A quiet family run ski resort. Ski the tranquil East End Trail or the
exciting South Rim Trail. Lodge to lodge day skiing with complementary
hot drinks. Snowshoes available. Enjoy cappucino or hot cider and popcorn
at Heston's main lodge. Relax in a wood-fired sauna, then take a

Cross River Lodge
Located on Gunflint Lake with lakefront cabins and above the Lodge with a
