Both Bed and Breakfast rooms are located on the second floor of the
Guesthouse, along with a common room. Set aside for use by guests, the
common room features a sitting area with gas fireplace, bookcase with
an abundant collection of books, board games, a deck over-looking
Little Ollie Lake and Poplar Creek, and furnished kitchenette with
dining area.
The Poplar Creek Guesthouse also offers a main floor Suite. A fireplace sitting area along with a kitchen and dining area are located in the Suite. Queen bedroom, bath and sliding door to your own deck too. May be rented with or without breakfast. Click link to see the Suite. |

This large sunny room features a rocking chair, large desk with telephone, wireless internet, table and chairs and two queen beds. In the closet are robes. The private bath includes a double shower with a "rain forest" showerhead. Shower wall dispenser includes shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. Dorothy's room can accommodate up to four people. Room is named in honor of Dorothy Young, who with her family spent summers at their Poplar Lake island home beginning in 1952.

Also in the room is a table and chairs, rocking chair and wicker chair. Telephone sits on large desk. Wireless internet access available. This room is named after Ollie Greco, poet and area pioneer, who with her husband built their home near Little Ollie Lake in the early 1930's.
